OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE

KangaTRAC's patented backing systems strengthen tuft bind and minimize edge ravel, because the backing is chemically and mechanically bonded to the carpet. KangaTRAC is an integral part of the total floor covering product.

DELAMINATION & WRINKLES

By forming a secure bond with carpet fibers during the manufacturing process, KangaTRAC counteracts the rigors of daily wear, greatly strengthening most carpets' resistance to edge ravel and delamination. KangaTRAC also minimizes wrinkles by absorbing impact shock, supporting surface fibers, and stabilizing the carpet composite.

WEARABILITY

The repeated pounding of constant traffic can leave its mark on carpet face fibers. KangaTRAC's dense cushion gives the proper support to deflect traffic impacts. It helps carpet to retain its appearance and texture, minimizing early signs of wear and the need for premature replacement.

DIMENSIONAL STABILITY

KangaTRAC's unique "relaxed technology"; provides added strength and stability to help prevent carpet bowing, skewing and rippling. And since carpets with KangaTRAC are glued directly to the floor, many installation problems can be avoided.

MOISTURE RESISTANCE

KangaTRAC resists moisture penetration, keeping spills at the surface for fast, effective clean-up.

INSTALLATION

Direct glue down installations are easy with carpets backed by KangaTRAC. Use a premium quality, multi-purpose adhesive and follow manufacturer's specifications. With KangaTRAC's secure bond, seams can be precisely cut and edge ravel minimized.

REMOVAL

A unique outer layer or "skin" makes carpet backed with KangaTRAC easier and cleaner to remove than other flooring products. If using a releasable adhesive, removal is even faster.

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS

KangaTRAC is a high modulus backing system made of 100% premium polyurethane. It can be applied to finished commercial carpet constructions with ActionBac® secondary backing, or over a pH adjusted latex unitary precoat without ActionBac®. These standard specifications are subject to slight variations within normal manufacturing tolerances.
