ULTRAPAVE® engineers and manufacturers high-quality asphalt additives to meet the demands for increasing loads, greater traffic volume, and the need for better longer-lasting pavements.
ULTRAPAVE's SBR Latex and Polymer Plus SBS polymers improve asphalt paving materials by increasing their resistance to rutting and cracking associated with low temperatures and load-associated fatigue. These polymers minimize the effects of aging, reduce stripping and raveling. They prolong pavement life in the most cost-effect way. Blended with asphalt paving materials, ULTRAPAVE's polymers help to create longer-lasting, safe highways with lower maintenance costs.
Life cycle performance studies over the past 20 years have shown that ULTRAPAVE's polymers add 45 to 50% additional life to pavements. Repeated laboratory and field evaluation have demonstrated the advantages of ULTRAPAVE's additives over other types of asphalt additives.
ULTRAPAVE's ULTRACOTE® is another premier product which extends the pavement life by providing a tough moisture barrier. Since 1993, ULTRACOTE has been used as a polymeric aggregate system to insure better asphalt to stone adhesion. This Polymeric Anti-Strip system is an effective anti-stripping agent, easy to apply, and safe to handle. Non-toxic and non-hazardous, it is environmentally friendly in every phase of its use.
